Toca Madera

Toca Madera (touch wood)  gives you the feeling of being out in the country side visiting a finca (farm). Quirky interior details and a cute patio, it is a great relaxing place in a quiet neighboorhood in Miramar. And it is worth the trip. 

This  paladar is owned by leading Cuban chef Enrique Suarez, who cooks modern simple food based on local traditional ingredients. He gets most of his produce from an organic farm some miles outside Havana run by a friend of his. Expect flavorsome , simple dishes, many of them vegetarian.
